I love painting, and enjoy working with a range of different subjects, using a rich palette of observed tones and colours to inform and weave paintings which I hope both celebrate and share my enjoyment. I strive for the essence and character of my subjects to be expressed in my response. I am always learning: studying from Old Masters; current exhibitions; and more contemporary artists, also gaining a lot from fellow artists and painting friends.
